As an applicant, you may temporarily suspend permit reviews on any Master Use Permit application directly from your portal account.
To initiate a temporary suspension, follow the Pause Project Review steps below. Please note that this pause option is only available after the application completed step, and before a decision is issued.
To end the suspension, follow the Resume Project Reviews steps below.
You must be an active contact listed on the application to submit both requests.
While reviews are paused:
- We will pause all review activity on the application until you submit a request to resume reviews.
- While reviews are paused, staff will not engage in substantive review activity. However, we will bill to the record number for time spent coordinating with the applicant on project updates, changes or timeline planning during the pause.
- If you pause reviews for more than 60 calendar days, then we will automatically add 30 calendar days to the overall project review timeline (Seattle Municipal Code 23.76.005.B3.a).
- You must submit a request to resume reviews to end the review pause.
