How to Register for an Account

To comply with the Building Tune-Ups policy, you must first register for an online account in the Seattle Services Portal. 

1. Go to the Seattle Services Portal
2. Click the link for Register for an Account in the upper, right corner.
3. Read the disclaimer and indicate you have read an accepted the terms; click Continue Registration
4. Enter:
   1. Username
   2. Email address
   3. Password
   4. Type password again
   5. Security question of your choosing
   6. Answer to the security question
5. Click Add New
6. A new window will open; select the type of contact – either Individual or Organization. An Individual contact requires a first and last name and may or may not be associated with a business. An Organizational contact requires an organizational name and may or may not have an organizational representative associated.
7. Click Continue
8. Enter all contact information and click Continue
9. You will receive a message indicating whether your information is already in the system or not
10. Click Continue and then click Continue Registration
11. You will see a message telling you that you have successfully created an account and that an email is being sent to you with instructions for verifying this account
