Temporary No Parking permits are available for both paid and unpaid curb spaces in Seattle. The map updates nightly, so it takes a day for permits to appear. This guide explains how to check for reservations for paid and unpaid curb spaces near a specific location or using a specific record number.

How to Check Curb Space Availability for Temporary No Parking (Paid Areas) Using an Address
Step 1: Access the Map
- Go to the Curb Spaces and Temporary No Parking map.
Step 2: Search for the Street Address

Click the Temporary No Parking (Paid Areas) tab.

Use the pull-down menu to check All or Addresses (Seattle) to find an area by address.

Enter the street address in the search field and select it.
Tip: The search is limited to six results.
Note: Since this is a global map, you may need to include "Seattle" if you search under Addresses (Seattle).

Click the address in the search results. The map zooms to the selected address, and a pin displays there.
Tip: This map displays approved Temporary No Parking permits that, based on the current date, are between 15 days before posting (upcoming) and 15 days after removal (recently removed).
Note: Not all curb spaces are reservable. See the Curb Spaces tab of the map for more information.
- If no colored lines are near the pin, there are no current reservations for that location.

Step 3: View a Reservation

Click a colored line near the pin to see details about the reservation.
Note: The current tab only shows paid curb spaces. For unpaid curb spaces, switch to the Temporary No Parking (Unpaid Areas) tab.

The line appears light blue, and reservation details display. Review the reservation dates to check availability.

How to Check Curb Space Availability for Temporary No Parking (Unpaid Areas) Using a Confirmation Number
The confirmation number printed on the Public Notice matches the permit's record number.
Step 1: Access the Map
- Go to the Curb Spaces and Temporary No Parking map.
Step 2: Search for the Confirmation Number

Click the Temporary No Parking (Unpaid Areas) tab.

Click the Search icon.

Select the confirmation number from the results. The map zooms to that location, and a No Parking sign appears.

Step 3: View a Reservation
- Click the No Parking sign to see more details.

Reservation details appear. Review the dates for availability.

Step 1: Access the Map

Look for the No Parking symbols nearby for reservations. You can zoom out by clicking the “-“ symbol or zoom in by clicking the “+” symbol.

Step 3: View a Reservation

Click the No Parking symbol for reservation details.
Note: This tab only shows unpaid curb spaces. To see paid curb spaces, switch to the Temporary No Parking (Paid Areas) tab.
