Temporary No Parking permits are available for both paid and unpaid curb spaces in Seattle. The reservations can be searched for in the Seattle Services Portal. Searches return publicly available information for all records that match the search criteria. This article focuses on searching for reservations for unpaid curb spaces where details are available from a Public Notice posted at the location or when the user wants to find permits near a specific location.

You may also use a map to search for reservations. Refer to How To Check Curb Space Availability or Search for Temporary No Parking Reservations Using a Map.
To Find an Existing Reservation When the Record Number Is Known:
- Go to the Seattle Services Portal.
- Click Search All Records.
- Enter the Record Number you are searching for. For example: SDOT-TNPN-00-XXXXX where XXXXX represents the number to find.
This search field only returns exact matches.

- The Record opens.
To Find an Existing Reservation Using Other Details from the Public Notice:
- Go to the Seattle Services Portal.
- Under Find Existing, click Choose a category > Permits – Parking & Truck.
- Fill in search criteria:
To find a record using the map, refer to How To Check Curb Space Availability for Temporary No Parking.
- Create Date - From (required) – defaults to 1/1/2015.
- Create Date - To (required) – defaults to today.

Record Number (optional) – enter the Record number, if known.
To find records where you only know part of the number, use the % for the part you don’t know. For example: %TNPN% or %TNPN-00-000%.

Record Type (optional) – select the permit type from the dropdown. Scroll to the bottom of the list and choose one of the following:
- Temporary No Parking Zone (Non-Paid Area) – Application
- Temporary No Parking Zone (Non-Paid Area) – License
- Records Status (optional) - select the status from the dropdown.
- Click Search.
- Review the search results at the bottom of the page.
- If nothing is returned, clear some of the search criteria. Click Search.
- If too many records are returned, narrow the search criteria – for example limit the dates to a narrow range. Click Search.
- If more than one match is found, click on the blue hyperlinked Record Number to open a reservation.
If only one match is found, the Record opens automatically.
- The reservation opens.
