Search for Temporary No Parking (Non-Paid Area) Reservations
Temporary No Parking permits are available for both paid and unpaid curb spaces in Seattle. Reservation information can be searched in the Seattle Services Portal, and searches return publicly available information for all records that match the criteria.
This article focuses on searching for reservations for unpaid curb spaces, where details are available through:
- A Public Notice posted at the location, or
- A search for permits near a specific location

Find an Existing Reservation When the Record Number Is Known
Step 1: Access Record Search
- Go to the Seattle Services Portal.
- Click Search All Records.
Step 2: Search for the Record
- Enter the Record Number (for example: SDOT-TNPN-00-XXXXX, where XXXXX is the unique number).
- This search returns exact matches only.
- If you do not know the full record number, see Find an Existing Reservation Using Other Details from the Public Notice below.
- Click Search.
- The matching record opens automatically.
When the reservation opens, the Temporary No Parking Zone License section is expanded and displays license details.
Find an Existing Reservation Using Other Details from the Public Notice
Step 1: Access Record Search
- Go to the Seattle Services Portal.
- Under Find Existing, click Choose a category and select Permits – Parking & Truck.
Step 2: Search for the Record
- Enter search criteria:
- Create Date – From (required): Defaults to 1/1/2015.
- Create Date – To (required): Defaults to today.

Record Number (optional):
- If you only know part of the number, use % as a wildcard.
Examples: %TNPN% or %TNPN-00-000%
- If you only know part of the number, use % as a wildcard.

Record Type (optional):
Scroll to the bottom of the list and select one of the following:- Temporary No Parking Zone (Non-Paid Area) – Application
- Temporary No Parking Zone (Non-Paid Area) – License
- Record Status (optional): Select a status from the dropdown.
- Click Search.
Step 3: Review Search Results
Results display at the bottom of the page.
- If no results appear:
- Clear or reduce search criteria and click Search again.
- If too many results appear:
- Narrow the date range or add additional criteria, then click Search.
- If multiple records are returned:
- Click the blue hyperlinked Record Number to open a reservation.
- If only one record is found:
- The reservation opens automatically.
When the reservation opens, the Temporary No Parking Zone License section is expanded and displays license details.
