Documents are required at two points in the application process for Street Use or Urban Forestry permits:
- When submitting a new application (check out our video)
- After submission to provide additional or updated documents (check out our video)
Documents are uploaded to your application in the Attachments step during application submission or on the Attachments tab on your record after your application has been submitted. You must be logged in and a contact on the application, or a delegate, to upload documents.

For New Applications
During the application process, you will be asked to upload required documents based on the type of permit you are applying for. A required document is also described as a Condition. For every required document, you must select a matching Document Type during the upload process. These steps are described in detail in each of our help articles for how to submit an application:

- Construction and Storage Containers

- Heavy Crane
- ROW Maintenance
- Minor Utility

- Street Improvement
- SDOT Final Plat
- Urban Forestry Tree Pruning, Removal, or Planting
During Review When Document Updates are Required
During the review process, after the application has been submitted, you may be asked to provide additional documents or revised versions of documents that you already submitted. For every required document (also described as a Condition), you must select a matching Document Type during the upload process. Go directly to the Attachments tab to upload documents.
