Instructions for Uploading Documents to Street Use Records
Documents are required at two points in the application process for Street Use or Urban Forestry permits:
- When submitting a new application (check out our video)
- After submission to provide additional or updated documents (check out our video)

How to Upload Documents to a New Application
During the application process, you will be asked to upload documents required for the type of permit you are applying for. Each required document is referred to as a Condition.
When uploading a document, you must:
Be on the Attachments page.
Select the Document Type that corresponds to the specific Condition being requested.

- SDOT Final Plat
- Urban Forestry Tree Pruning, Removal, or Planting
How to Upload Documents When Updates are Required
During the review process, you may be asked to provide additional documents or revised versions of documents you previously submitted. Each required document is referred to as a Condition.
When uploading documents, you must:
Be logged in and listed as a contact on the application or be an authorized delegate.
Go directly to the Attachments tab.
Select the Document Type that corresponds to the requested Condition.
