To make changes to an issued side sewer permit, please email us at SideSewerInfo@seattle.gov. Do not use these steps.
If you are doing drainage and sanitary sewer work in the right-of-way, you need a separate right-of-way (ROW) permit. You need to apply for a SDOT Minor Utility permit. For more information, see:
- How Do I Submit an Application for a Minor Utility or a Utility Major Permit?
- Utility Permits external training and materials on SDOT’s Accela Updates Website
- Street Use’s Seattle Services Portal Help Center Apply for a Permit articles
- Street Use permitting questions can be sent to SDOTPermits@seattle.gov
- Street Use Accela login questions can be sent to dot_su_ssportal_questions@seattle.gov
Note: During the application process, you will need to submit a Right-of-way Impact Plan (ROWIP) per Client Assistant Memo 2116.
For issued SDCI Side Sewer Permits, please email us at SideSewerInfo@seattle.gov with your side sewer permit number. We will modify your side sewer permit to indicate there is work in the right-of-way (ROW) and that a separate SDOT permit is required.
If you are responding to an SDCI request for additional information regarding your side sewer permit application, follow the steps below.
