Renewals are amendments to existing records. They are tracked using the parent record number with a numeric suffix. They can be found under related records for the parent application.
You can only request a renewal of the following types of permits within 30 days of when your permit will expire. (For all other permit types, see Renewal Process for SDCI Permits.)
- Blanket Tenant Improvements
- Construction

If you submit your renewal application within this 30-day window, you can renew your permit for an additional 18 months.
